De Salon
De Salon took place every two years at the Bergkerk in Deventer, organized by Kunstenlab in collaboration with Platform Deventer Kunstenaars. It was a presentation of Deventer artists showcasing their recent work. In 2018, I created “migratory birds” and a “confessional booth.” Poet and artist Jet Rotmans wrote two poems for the pieces, which I then punched into steel.
Het Landschap wat niemand ziet
De Staat Van 2022 (the follow-up to De Salon). Also biennial, but in a different format. Kunstenlab invites artists to present themselves as a group with a self-chosen theme. In small exhibition spaces in the Bergkerk, called cubes, the results are shown in two periods. In Het Landschap wat niemand ziet (The Landscape No One Sees), Jeanette Knigge, Paola de Bruijn, Simon Bos, and I worked on a non-existent landscape. I conducted research on the industrial area in Holten, an invisible natural gem.
Grondtoon
Nevengeul 2023, a group exhibition and a regular part of the IJsselbiënnale program, held at the Harculocentrale in Zwolle. Together with Jeanette Hoekstra, Jeanette Knigge, Paola de Bruijn, and I, we created a collective visualization of a growing landscape with an interconnected system driving everything together.
Wonderland
De Staat Van 2024. A group exhibition at the Bergkerk. Together with Jojanneke Dekens, Susanne Sorenssen, AnnaKarina ter Horst, Teodora Iunescu, Floor Coolsma, Lee Pieket and myself.

De Noordelijke Kunsthof
A duo exhibition together with visual artist Leen Kaldenberg at De Noordelijke Kunsthof in Appingedam, 2024.
Open Stal
Open Stal is an annual art route in Oldeberkoop, with a different theme each year. In 2023, the theme was “The Journey.” For this edition, I created a series of bus stops. A lot of waiting happens during a journey, hence the choice.
Een vlucht regenwulpen
As a member of the national artists’ association De Ploegh in Amersfoort, you have the opportunity to exhibit in the gallery for a period. From April 7 to 19, 2025, I will be exhibiting together with Paola de Bruijn in the gallery with the theme “A Flight of Curlews.” It is a visual account of our joint trip to Snæfellsnes, Iceland, in 2024.
Fascinatie
A group exhibition organized by the members of Platform Deventer Kunstenaars at the Bergkerk in Deventer in 2018. Each member finds a fellow exhibitor who shares the same fascination. Together with TamTam Objectentheater, we designed a sound sculpture connected to an opening performance.
